Karla Homolka, Welfare Recipient

While watching the news last night, a story came up about Karla Homolka's desire to conceal her identity upon her release.

They interviewed a man connected to the situation, and he said:

"She'll have to report to her parole officer using her own name, and she'll receive her welfare in her own name."

I'll hold back comment for now, and just leave that out there for you to think about. I'm sure you'll have an opinion on it. :)

Of course she's getting welfare. Who in their right mind would give her a job? Clearly not the local day care...

I imagine she'll be chased back to prison rather quickly.

I've seen many cases where people who are released from prison after committing crimes of this nature immediately commit small crimes because they'd rather be in prison than out in the community.

Let's hope she doesn't commit another "big" crime that lands her in the clink for life.

I say that not because I want her amongst the general populace but because it will mean another rape, murder or the like.

A convicted pedophile was released in Toronto last month. A lot of people were gunning for him. Within a few days of his release, he went to watch Star Wars at the Silver City movie theatre, thus violating his parole (he wasn't allowed near children). The police found him there and immediately sent back to jail.

The general belief was that he did this with the intention of going back to jail.

She's not gonna need welfare - after the book & movie rights deals, she'll be set for life.

Ya gotta love free enterprise...

Homolka/Teale strikes me as someone who thinks either she's gotten away with what she did..and or she believes she had no 'serious' part in these heartless crimes. This is the typical response of a socio/physcopath..truth be known..and little does she know of the 'truth,'her sentence starts now. No one has to kill her..no one has to do anything to her. Karma will do to Karla exactly what Karla did to karma. My heart is with the families of those who perished under what amounts to nothing more than this depraved womans (and I use that term loosely here), inherent badness, venom, insecurities & jelousies. Yes her family too.

I found this while googling this morning..and thought perhaps Karla herself would like to add this test to any forseeable resume she may hand over to perspective employers/friends/lovers/landlords, etc. The below is the post I found:
______________________________________

While looking through my news paper this morning I found this test that they use on criminals to see if they are Physcopaths. I thought it would be fun for the rest of you guys to try it out. Be honest with your scores (I want to know who not to hang out with) If the listed trait applies to you you get a 2 for it. If it kind of applies its a 1 and if it doesnt apply then its a 0. The final score is out of 40. Go!

Physcopath Test:

Glibness/superficial charm

Grandiose sense of self-worth

Need for stimulation/proneness to boredom

Pathological lying

Conning/manipulative

Lack of remorse or guilt

Shallow affect

Callous/lack of empathy

Parasitic lifestyle

Poor behavioral control

Promiscuous sexual behavior

Early behavior problems

Lack of realistic, long-term goals

Impulsivity

Irresponsibility

Failure to accept responsibility for own actions

Many short-term marital relationships

Juvenile delinquency

Revocation of conditional release

Criminal versatility

Score yourself (and be honest). Oops that last direction may ixnay Karla from the test.

Interesting test.

.. but I wonder how many people would actually admit to any of those characteristics, whether they display them or not.

Not too many I suspect T.O. Tory..but I look at it this way..a real socio/physcopath would think nothing of admitting to it. And therein would be our first clue.

Insane that she's actually walking free. If there is a better place that karma determines we go too..and I believe there is..I wonder what these young women must be thinking.
